We are almost there! Please pray for us as we continue to prepare our hearts and our minds for the year ahead!
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
We firmly believe in the power of our supporters' prayers! Please pray with us:
1. That the Lord would receive all the glory and honor through our service this upcoming year.
2. For Christ-like love, humility and gentleness in service. That the Great Compassion of God would move us into action (Great Commission).
3. For deep dependence upon the Lord. That we would die to ourselves daily and live not in the flesh, but by faith in Jesus Christ (Galatians 2:20). That we would rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
4. For the students that we will be teaching, that they would come to know Christ personally and have a relationship with Him.
5. For Pastor Cho's family and ministry, that their ministry would be fruitful and effective in the proclamation of the Gospel and the ministering to the Paraguayan people; that the Cho's would continue to find their comfort and joy in Christ regardless of the circumstances they find themselves in.
6. That we would be able to encourage and spur on our brothers and sisters at Marangatu Church and be diligent in developing Christ-centered relationships with them. That the leaders of the church may be refreshed by the Gospel daily and have shepherd-like hearts for their congregation.
7. That we would be able to learn the Spanish language well in order to proclaim the Gospel and minister effectively.
8. Lastly, for us (Cho family, Joe, Yoe Jin) as a team, that we would serve each other and consider each other's interests above our own.
